EXTON, Pa. – Dec. 15, 2010 – Bentley Systems, Incorporated, the leading company dedicated to providing comprehensive software solutions for the infrastructure that sustains our world, today announced that it has been selected to join the consortium, led by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, for a U.S.-China Clean Energy Research Center (CERC) focused on building energy efficiency. The new center, which President Obama and President Hu Jintao formally announced last year, will develop technologies for low-energy residential and commercial buildings, as well as work on the commercialization of those technologies and research how human behavior affects building energy use.
